Love Relay – The Big Bear Foundation
In memory of the one who left us too soon.
The Big Bear Foundation was born from a mother’s deepest grief and enduring love.

Her son, lovingly nicknamed Big Bear, was a bright, sensitive, and determined child. During the pandemic, he immersed himself in engineering and AI, setting impossibly high expectations for himself. Diagnosed with high-functioning autism, he longed for acceptance but often felt misunderstood. After many silent struggles, he chose to leave the world.
In the midst of immeasurable pain and longing, this mother decided to co-found Love Relay – The Big Bear Foundation. She wanted to turn her loss into something meaningful: to support other neurodiverse children and families still in the midst of their own battles. She believes that these children are not the problem—the real challenge lies in a society that fails to understand and support them.
Even a small shift in perspective, she believes, could open a path of hope and healing for children like her son.

I’m Linda, a psychology coach and a mother who discovered at age 18 that my child was living with both autism and ADHD.
On my own path, I’ve met countless parents navigating similar journeys—parents who love deeply but struggle silently. Through personal experience and professional insight, I’ve learned how to better walk alongside my own child, and now I hope to walk with others too. Together with Big Bear’s mother, we created Love Relay to bring support, connection, and compassion to families like ours.
Love Relay is not just a memorial—it is an invitation.
An invitation to learn, to listen, and to walk together with families raising neurodiverse children.
Because even in the darkest moments, a little understanding can become a bridge back to love.
You are not alone. We’re here, walking with you.
Let love become a gentle relay.
